Dayflowers

Ariel, our dog,  and I were morning travelers in Hill Co, 19 Sept. when we found a lane with many Dayflowers. The first time we saw them we were in Arkansas. The second time Nan and I found them in Hill Co. and then on Highway 77 in Ellis Co. We've hunted them down this summer several more times. It's been hot and dry until into September. Now we've had a bit of rain and there are hoards of flowers crowding the fields and roadways. Hope to show you some beautiful, very beautiful, wildflowers! These are: Erect Dayflower Commelina erecta.
